Personal Bio
Marca retired in May 2025 after forty years as a CPA. She continues to volunteer in her community, serving as treasurer of the Fairfield Education and Community Association and on the planning committee for the Get Your Kicks @ 6 summer concert series in Choteau, Montana.
Marca loves to sing and play musical instruments. She has been making music since childhood, singing and playing guitar since age 8; picking up old-time fiddling in pre-teen years; and playing viola with high school, university and professional symphony orchestras in Bozeman, Montana, and Anchorage, Alaska. She was a singer in the band "Stonehouse" based out of Helena, Montana from 2006-2017, covering classic rock, blues and folk; and she is currently a member of the classic country-folk trio out of Choteau, Montana, "The Loose Mules," which will release their next album in Summer 2025.
On June 15, 2025, Marca and her publishing company Damselfly Music Press released her first solo album "It's About Time," a mix of cover songs and originals. The album is available as a CD and on all streaming platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Marca finds songwriting to be a fulfilling endeavor, and she continues to write songs and hone her craft by attending online and in-person workshops and retreats. A recent highlight was co-writing a song with an award-winning, well-known songwriter and musician.
